I love this painting. The intensity of the colors and the guided yet winded brush strokes are beautiful. I look at this painting and I feel a mix of emotions. As Nicole’s pregnancy nears an end, thoughts of uncertainty and joy overcome her. The painting captures a moment of calm as Nicole is caressing her belly all the while anticipating the journey into parenthood with her husband and how this baby will forever change their lives.
